WHITLEY CARNIVAL 2025

Welcome to Whitley Carnival! Step right up and prepare to be amazed by the colours, sounds and energy of Reading’s brightest and best street party.

From at 12 noon on Sunday 20 July 2025, Whitley Carnival’s Parade included live music, costumes, dancing, fun and some very special giants!

The carnival start point was at Reading Girls School, with the parade leading to the roundabout that joins Northumberland Avenue to Hartland Road. The parade ended at the South Reading Leisure Centre at 1pm.

We welcomed local children, families, schools, arts organisations and volunteers to celebrate Our Beautiful World together. We were also joined by the Mayor and local MP Yuan Yang.
